We're the best agency you've never heard of, and we've got ambitious plans for 2024, plans that necessitate the addition of a full-time Creative Artworker for our Leeds studio. You will be helping us deliver the kind of hard-working and innovative creative work that keeps our clients coming back for more and, most importantly, engages with their customers. While that means working closely with our team, it also means working closely with external suppliers and production houses, from taking briefs and developing ideas to progressing concepts and creating the finished artwork. You'll need impeccable print and packaging experience under your belt, as you'll be working on multiple projects across multiple sectors, from property signage to luxury spirit packaging.

What we want

  • 4+ years of industry experience.

  • A meticulous eye for details and deep understanding of print.

  • Impressive portfolio showcasing creativity across multiple channels.

  • Proficiency in Adobe CC, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

  • Up-to-date digital expertise and best practice knowledge.

  • Ensure design work aligns with brand guidelines.

  • Drive process improvements alongside the operations team.

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team from concept to final approval.

  • Efficiently manage and archive accurate artwork files for studio.

  • Strong quality control and communication skills.

  • Provide precise technical support to the creative team.

  • Act as a liaison with external printers and the studio's artwork department.

  • Ensure artwork consistency and accuracy in accordance with brand guidelines.

  • Essential experience in signage and packaging.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with the creative team, overseeing design projects from inception to final artwork.

  • Develop corporate designs across various formats using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

  • Conceptualise and enhance visuals, ensuring they meet print and web standards in terms of colour, typography, and image libraries.

  • Format and prepare documents for printing.

  • Maintain artwork consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Handle variable print file imposition for digital printing.

  • Organise and archive accurate artwork files for clients.

  • Manage and update an in-house image library.

  • Conduct proof checks before printing.

  • Create web assets of appropriate size and scale.

  • Review printer proofs.

  • Adapt existing artwork to different layouts or formats.

  • Provide precise technical support to an agency or design studio.

  • Act as a liaison with external printers and the studio's artwork department.

  • Stay updated on the latest design trends.

The salary

£25,000 — £30,000 (DOE)
