Urbanite Living had a fresh perspective on student accommodation but were unsure about how best to take it to market. They tasked us with sense checking their ideas to help them understand how to position and launch their innovative proposition. Our research revealed modern students are independent, self-focused and want their time at uni to be the best it can be. They value quality products and service.
The ‘U’ brand identity unashamedly puts the student’s individualism and self-focus at the centre of the proposition. It’s all about ‘U’.
The ‘U’ provided us with the perfect creative vehicle to communicate the benefits of the accommodation and how it meets the expectations of the modern, urban student.
Introducing monotone imagery of young, happy students, combining with a light colour palette, lifted the visual aspect of the brand giving it a youthful and fresh tone that would appeal to students.
Advertising was kept simple and bold to make it as eye catching as possible.
Thinking mobile first, we needed to make the digital experience easy to navigate and make sure the locations were easy to find within the website architecture, selling the vision for what living at an Urbanite location would be like.
