Thoughtfully designed and deeply connected to its surroundings, it brings 101 beautifully crafted homes and apartments to a wider development set to deliver over 1,500 homes. Built for community, The Origins is more than a place to live. It is a neighbourhood shaped by green spaces, essential amenities, and a spirit of connection.

The name speaks to beginnings. Inspired by Cambridge’s legacy of scientific discovery, it pays tribute to Charles Darwin and his groundbreaking impact on the world. It is a name rooted in progress, designed to reflect a city built on curiosity and exploration. Our challenge was to create a brand identity that captures this essence, an invitation to a place where life, learning, and community thrive.

The identity blends simplicity with sophistication. A refined primary marque sets the tone for a modern, intelligent brand that remains deeply connected to Cambridge’s history. To honour the city’s academic ties, we created two secondary marques inspired by the pioneering research of Rosalind Franklin, a nod to the relentless pursuit of knowledge. Every detail of The Origins is considered. Every touchpoint is designed to feel authentic, inviting, and connected to a remarkable legacy. This is more than a home. It is a place to belong.
